Support the Wake County Cerebral Palsy Support Group
Date: 02/22/2008

Author: Jennifer Pfaltzgraf

The Wake County Cerebral Palsy Support Group is offering customized Emergency Cards for your child with special needs as a fundraiser to assist us in becoming a registered non-profit.

This card was developed to assist emergency workers and medical professionals in the event of an accident. If the parent is unable to explain the child’s needs/disabilities this card can do that for them: perhaps the child is non-verbal or has little head control, or is prone to have seizures. It can also include simple, yet important information like a food allergy or that the child can only eat pureed food. This card can include any specific information about the child’s medicines, medical conditions, behavior, fears, etc. It also has room for several emergency contacts as well as doctor’s information. The card attaches right to a car seat, booster seat, armrest, or wherever it can be easily seen.

Visit our website and click on the STORE link or call 219-0852
to order your Emergency Information Card.
