Miconazole Nitrate/Zinc Oxide/Petrolatum Ointment (Vusion®)

COMMON USES:
Used to treat diaper rash that also has a candidal (yeast) infection.

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED:
30 gram tube

HOW IT WORKS:
The miconazole works to kill the yeast infection while the zinc oxide and white petrolatum help protect the skin.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* Can be used in children 1 month of age and older.
* Should only be used in children who have a normal immune system.
* Should be applied during each diaper change for 7 days in a row.
* Only apply a thin layer of ointment - do not rub it into the skin.
* May cause irritation of the skin.
